Shrinkage and Take-Up

Question: Is there a quick and dirty answer to how much shrinkage and take up to allow for 8/2 cotton placemats in balanced twill? I am planning out my project for the placemat exchange and have never really fussed too much about size before.

I would allow 10-12% after I have considered my draw-in.
