What percentage of shrinkage would you plan when weaving Lace?

Well, some of it depends on how much plain weave you have in the piece. If you have wider borders and a couple of vertical stripes within the pattern then your shrinkage would be what the normal shrinkage for that yarn would be plus a few more percents, if you don’t have much plain weave in it you are looking at at least 15%……but to be absolutely sure….sample!
