Brushing Mohair

Question: I just finished a small mohair scarf and the fulling went well, but now I am wondering when you brush it, do you do both sides or do you leave one side unbrushed? I have brushed one side and wow it really puffed up. I am loving it for sure. I can see more in my crystal ball.

I brush a lot of blankies and brush on both sides. Over the years I’ve bought many brushes. My favourite brush, that glides over the surface and raises a beautiful nap, is a cat Slicka brush by an English pet grooming company called Hindes. The teeth are very dense and have a little bend to them near the end. It looks like this:
