Differences Between Spring Loom 1 and 2

I have woven on the Spring 2 and all of the improvements are for the better, even though the current Spring is awesome you can always make things better. The loom, in general, is sturdier…all of its individual pieces are made from beefier dimensions of Beechwood. The winding handle on the back beam is fabulous, it is a full rotating handle which I love. The brake handle is thicker and sits a little higher than the old version making it easier to reach. The ratchet system on the front cloth beam is the beefier version from the Octado and Megado, a double ratchet system. All the harnesses have the new system that allows for much much easier removal and addition of heddles. The treadles are the same. The loom is 1” taller than the original. All great improvements…but the original is still fantastic too:)
